Frequently asked questions.
How do I find out your pricing?
On my website I just provide a starting point for pricing for every type of session I offer. The reason I do this is because everyone is different and what they need for their session or wedding will be different. If you have a full size wedding you may need 2 photographers or 3, or you may want a longer engagement session. If you’re having an elopement there are a ton of factors to consider and things you may not have thought of till we talk. I prefer to have a quick phone call so we can talk through your day and I can provide you with the most accurate pricing based on your needs. :)
What is your Photography Style?
I call my photographic style Authentically Currated. I want the look and feel to be as it was the day of, but I take the time to help direct you, remove any distractions, and shoot in an art style. I love to true to life colors (you spent all that money on design, florals, etc. It should look the way you planned it.) and I also keep in mind a film look and feel. When I first was introduced to photography, I shot on film and still love that and emulate that in my digital photos.
Do you do destination weddings?
YES! I love destination weddings. I grew up overseas and love to travel to document your stories. I have traveled all over for weddings (Mexico, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nevada, etc.) and have destination packages for every size wedding, and in those packages I include my travel costs, so there are no surprises.
How many photos do we get?
I’m a giver. Usually I promise between 50 to 100 images an hour but if I get carried away, you may get more. ;) I also give you full size images, so you can print as large as you can dream.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Do you have Insurance?
YES! Absolutely. Most wedding venues require you to have insurance to operate on their premises so I have a million dollars with of liability. Anything happens to me, my team, or our equipment, we are covered!
How do you process and store our images?
Ophf! This is a huge question you should be asking any photographer or videographer. So on the day of I shoot on a camera that has dual memory cards, which means I have duplicates of every image I take as I take it. As soon as I get home, I back those images up to mulitple hard drives. I also keep one of the memory card from day of, in a lock box as a hard copy until I am done editing and deliver. After delivery they are stored in my cloud for a year of access for you, your family, and friends.
Do you have backup equipment?
Absolutley! I have been in business long enough to know anything can happen, and does. I have a backup camera, memory cards, and flashes. I want to be sure that there is NO WAY I miss anything that happens on your big day.
Do I need a second Photographer?
It all depends on the size of your wedding. If you have over 50 guests, all of my packages include a second shooter. If you have over 150, I even recommend adding on a third. This is to make sure we have full coverage and don’t miss any of your guests or things that are happening.
